What IS the Natural Mothering E-book Bundle?
The Natural Mothering E-book Bundle is exactly what it sounds like – a collection of some of the best e-books written by prominent bloggers, health coaches, and alternative health specialists well-known in their fields.
There are many topics covered within the “natural mothering” umbrella:
- natural healing for children (e.g. stocking a natural medicine cabinet, dealing with autism),
- fertility-related issues (e.g. eating for fertility, healing from PCOS),
- alternative babycare (e.g. babywearing, natural childbirth, elimination communication),
- complex child-rearing issues (e.g. adoption, vaccination),
- teaching our children (e.g. teaching kids about money, homeschooling, passing on faith traditions, kids & dental health),
- non-toxic living (e.g. homemade cleaners, keeping kids toxin-free),
- nurturing ourselves as mothers (e.g. healing emotional wounds, home organization, making time for ourselves),

How does an e-book bundle sale work?
E-book bundle sales have become quite popular over the last several months and specifically because they work.
This is why: In a bundle sale, a group of authors all submit their books under one common theme then agree to sell them as a collection for a set period of time for a very low price. Let's say there are 30 authors who each have a book worth $10. That's a total value of $300. They then sell the bundle at 90% off for $30 for the entire collection.
This may seem ridiculous, but consider that each author usually sells his or her book for $10. In a bundle sale, the author gets a significant commission, let's say 80%. So, in this case, each author then gets $24 per sale. Not bad for a $10 book!
Couple this with wide-spread exposure due to the number of authors promoting it and it's quite possible to both increase traffic to your site and earn a tidy sum. In similar sales in the past 6-8 months, e-book bundle sales have sold between 2,000 and 12,000 copies, so it is a great opportunity for wide-spread exposure.
The reader also gets a very good value. They get 30 books for the regular price of just three of the books – for readers who have “had their eye on” a particular title but are on a very tight budget or for someone who is extremely interested in the particular subject – this is a FANTASTIC way to pay for the information they both want and need.
How will the sale benefit me?
As an author you will receive 80% of your own sales PLUS 30% of the non-author affiliate sales will be split among the authors.
Your site will also have increased exposure and likely receive an increase of traffic through the course of the sale. A few authors from past sales I've been a part of have reported an increase of 100% – 400% in their traffic during the sale week, with continued residual traffic.
You will also receive free copies of all other books in the bundle so that you may promote the other books passionately and accurately.
What will be required of me as an author?
There are only two requirements:
1. Submit your book in PDF format, along with other related materials.
2. Provide your PayPal address so that you can get paid.
You are requested to promote it through the sale week as well, but it is not a requirement. However, effective promotion is highly encouraged!
Once you have agreed to participate as an author, I will send you all the specific details.
Can I include only one book?
No. You may include as many appropriate, related books as you would like, with prior approval. Just ask!
Do I have to promote the sale if I include a book?
No, you are not required to promote the sale, but it is most definitely to your benefit to do so. However, it is your relationship with your readers and you have to make the decision that is best for you.
You will receive your author bonus regardless of how much or how little you promote.
When are the sale dates?
June 10-17, 2013
The sale begins on Monday, June 10, at 12:01 a.m. PDT and ends on Monday, June 17, at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
What if my book has multiple authors?
Each of you will receive a free bundle for promotion, you will each receive 80% of your own sales, and you will be counted as individual, separate authors when the bonus is divided up.
Since my book legally belongs to me, how do you license its use for sale?
Unless I have made other syndication arrangements with you, by sending your book file to me, you agree that you are giving me permission to make the book available for sale from 12:01 a.m. PDT on Monday, June 10 to 12:15 a.m. PDT, Tuesday, June 18.
(The sale ends at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, June 17, but I will keep the files open for an extra 16 minutes so that no one can complain that they were in the middle of payment when the sale closed.)
During that time, the book still belongs to you – you merely give NourishingJoy.com legal permission to “resell” it under these terms during that time.
There will be no late sales. Purchasers will have 3 weeks to download the files, but the payment will have already happened during the sale period, so the resale license reverts to you as soon as the payment gateway closes on June 18, 12:15 a.m.
What do I do if I'm not able to create a sales page on my website?
I would be happy to create a unique page for you on my website, NourishingJoy.com, so that as you direct traffic to the sale, your unique sales ID will be captured and you will receive credit for all your sales.
