Meet the Authors

Alina Joy Dubois

Easy Peasy Chores
http://www.goodolddaysfarm.com/

I’m not really sure how I ended up as a wife and mother living on a small Texas farm, but I love it!  I grew up in Canada and so I love these warm, extended summers!  (Yes, even when it’s 108 degrees Fahrenheit I enjoy being not-cold!)

I love to read and write, sew, knit and visit with friends.  Of course, with a young family, what I spend most of my time actually doing is laundry, cleaning, cooking and more laundry!  I have a degree in teaching so I never expected that one day I would be homeschooling, but here I am!  (In fact, when Papa the Farmer first suggested we homeschool the Little Farmhands I said, “What do you mean?  You want the children to be truant???” )

I love to learn new things and I am currently taking courses in holistic healthcare, herbs and nutrition.  I’m really not a farm girl at heart (which is why this whole idea was such a shock to me), so my biggest contribution to this endeavor usually ends up being taking pictures and chronicling our adventures on our Farm Blog.
